Who are our Staff?
To date, there are approximately 350 staff members serving in Innovation Zone Schools. Over 3 years, the Innovation Zone has seen a 75% retention rate from year to year for teachers. The Innovation Zone schools are comprised of staff made up of 23% of staff of color and 45% staff of color on the Leadership Team. In the Innovation Zone, at least 57% of our staff have earned a Master’s degree or higher.

I do my job by supporting families who speak second language.
Another aspect of my job is coordinating services,
engage family to our program build strong relationship between
teachers’ staff and families. I also supporting my community who need
to know America education system, do translation or interpretation for
general needed.

culture different, trust me to work with them, they feel like I have
leadership skill, patient, respect them, passion to work with everyone.
My superpower is to learn new thing for my future and also learn
anything from my mistake.

Georgette Kapuku Mabi

I'm a family liaison for a special population in the Action Zone. My job is to empower parents to become leaders and help them to address questions or concerns regarding their students' education. I also connect families to different resources that support the entire family such as housing, food, Health care and Mental health support and motivate students to career pathways after high school
